Written for: the "Winds of Change" drabble challenge at Black Pearl Sails
The first few months were spent sorting out the mess Davy Jones had left behind. Will afforded no time to wonder what was going on elsewhere, with her.
The first soul that heard stories, heard them wrong. Will knew what went down at the battle outside Shipwreck Cove, and it only vaguely resembled the story that this sailor told.
The first time one of the souls took a fright at the name Turner, mistaking him for the king and not the psychopomp, Will filled with emotion. That was his wife, his Elizabeth. Elizabeth Turner, Pirate King of the Brethren Court.
