Dec. 31st, 2003 02:41 pmAm running off to do errands. Even though I'm going no where tonight, I still need to brave the LCBO and buy booze. Oh well. My sister will be 19 in 23 days and then I won't have to do it again.
A Lily/James New Year's Drabble
Lily’s parents were watching Harry for the night. It was New Year’s Eve so Lily and James had decided to celebrate their first baby-free, Order-free night since before Harry was born.
Everyone had promised not to interrupt them for anything less than a full-scale massacre of London (which, unfortunately, was not that farfetched a scenario). They prepared a romantic candle light dinner, complete with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries for desert. They were all set to ring in the New Year’s with style.
When midnight rolled around, Lily and James were curled up on the couch, fast asleep, their dinner untouched.
