Dec. 31st, 2003 05:17 pmSkipped the LCBO. Got in there. Saw the line ups of 30 people each. Turned around and went home again.
Also am not sure if I'm doing anything tonight. I don't want to go to a house party. Too many of my friends don't live in the same city as me anymore. And the ones that do aren't answering their phones. Maybe I shouldn't have left making plans off until four, the day of.
A James/Sirius New Year's Drabble
It was New Year’s Eve. James was drunk because Lily wasn’t there to celebrate with him. Sirius was drunk because listening to James whine all night was not something to do while sober (it wasn’t something to do while drunk, either, but at least this way he had an excuse for smacking James when he became too unbearable).
Neither had anyone to kiss when the clock counted down and the new year rolled around, so they kissed each other.
And the next morning, while they battled hangovers and avoided each other, both wondered why the kiss had felt so right.
